Ileana is also an engaging and dynamic speaker who has presented on a number of small business topics at a variety of venues. In addition, through a partnership with BizLaunch, Ileana was the first Trainer who created the BizLaunch Up & Running Women's Program, and delivered it successfully to female entrepreneurs in the Toronto region.

Ileana aims to be a catalyst for change, on a personal and/or a business level to North American small business owners and consultants. She consults and coaches with sole practitioners to help them create effective copy and marketing strategy so that their businesses flourish. She speaks to and educates members of associations, corporations and others on various business topics. Through collaborations with like-minded individuals, she trains new entrepreneurs in the mechanics of successfully running a small business with integrity and excellence. In everything she does, she operates with authenticity and deepest regard for her clients, associates and colleagues, contributing to the best of her ability to their continued success.

Ileana's background includes over 20 years of corporate professional experience in a variety of sectors, including hospitality, management consulting, insurance, high technology, accounting, executive search, as well as education, and personnel consulting.

On a personal note, Ileana has traveled extensively and has lived in 7 countries around the world, including Canada, where she currently resides. She holds a 4-year Bachelor of Arts degree with a Specialist in English Literature, from the University of Toronto, where she graduated with distinction. She has also recently partially completed (with distinction) the requirements for a post-graduate diploma with the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) out of the U.K., in Human Resource Management.

Ileana has been a child sponsor through Foster Parents Plan Canada since 1998, and is an Affiliate Member of the CIPD.
